You’re a graduate with big ambitions in IT. You want to start as you mean to go on, with an organisation that offers all the support and responsibility you need to first find your way and then carve your own niche. You want great rewards from the beginning, and to look forward to building your earning and career potential year on year. You want to work with EDS. A leading global technology services company, we’ve built our success on delivering a broad portfolio of IT and business process outsourcing. We now have a vast array of clients across many industries, offices in around 60 countries and generate $20 billion in annual revenue. But, like you, we have bigger ambitions.
Over 18 to 24 months, we’ll help you to find your way, develop goals and maximise your career options. Opportunities for learning are ongoing, throughout the programme and beyond. And the rewards are immediate: from the beginning, you’ll enjoy a competitive salary and excellent benefits package, which includes generous holiday and pension provision.
Working in the business from day one, you’ll gain valuable, hands on business experience. Assisting in every aspect of the design, development and support of client systems, you’ll carry out a range of tasks that will contribute to your development, and ensure you complete the programme as a confident IT professional. The fact that we have a large and varied client base, operating multiple platforms and technologies, means lots of opportunity for technically able applicants, regardless of specific experience. If you’re ambitious and proactive, and have a 2.2 or better in Computer Science, Maths, Physics or Engineering (with significant IT content), it’s time to apply.
Current opportunities include those in the South East which require you to be eligible for DVA Security Clearance and a UK resident for at least the last 3 years. We do not sponsor applications for work permits. Students with limited permission to work in the UK (e.g. 1 year) are not eligible to join the programme. An ongoing work permit or Highly Skilled migrant Program status is essential.
