Graduates recruited by Oracle participate in a structured development programme during their first 18 months with the company.
0-12 Months
Year one of the programme facilitates the transition from college to the working environment and involves learning technical skills and the development of professional competency through practical experience and training. Core elements covered during the first year of the programme include Setting Objectives, Assertive Communication, Working Globally, Time Management, Mentoring, Project Management, Influencing Skills in addition to the development specific to your job role. Your passion might be sales, consulting, development, finance or something else entirely. Whatever it is, you will receive specialized programmes to get you up to speed on how we do things at Oracle. In addition you will attend Graduate Days across your region to help you network and build good relationships with other graduates across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
12-18 Months
The remainder of the programme involves the application of skills and responsibilities relevant to your role and planning your next steps with Oracle. Core elements covered in the second year include Action Learning, Creativity & Innovation, and individual Support tailored to you and your needs.

Opportunities
We are looking to recruit a Compensation and Benefits Analyst working specifically on mergers and acquisitions who will join our Human Resources team here at our Oracle Reading offices in the UK.
SCOPE
- Work as part of UK C&B team
- Works on designated mergers and acquisitons
- Liaise with appropriate HR acquisition lead
- Reports to Compensation & Benefits Director
- Works across all lines of Oracle UK's business
- Liaise with external parties as required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Presentation of Oracle’s UK flexible benefits program to acquired company employees.
- Arrange continuation of all acquired companies benefit programs as required.
- Mapping and detailed analysis of acquired company’s benefits to Oracle’s benefits.
- Preparation of communiction material to both Employee Intergration Forum and to acquired employees.
- Attend the Employee Integration Forum as required.
- Act as primary contact for any employee-initiated benefit enquires.
- Work on other projects as part of the UK Human Resources or EMEA Compensation and Benefits teams.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Ideally a Graduate with an appropriate Human Resources Degree, Bachelors or Masters.
- Ideally CIPD or part CIPD qualified
- Strong PC skills, particularly excel

The Internships provides a great opportunity for involvement across many sectors of the business, from financial analysis and forecasting, assistantship to the Vice President of Public Sector and Education, to event managament and marketing within the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. The internship covers all sectors, with the opportunity to specialise, according to preference, as well as European travel.
Throughout the year, you will have access to on-going training and development
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be an Undergraduate on a Business Management degree course
- Have a willingness to join a dynamic, global development team

- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Fluency in English is essential
